Game Night at Chris and Sarah's

We went to a Video Game Night at our friends Chris and Sarah's house. Gretje always gets really freaked out and overstimulated when she first walks into a big room full of people, so it warms my heart SO MUCH when she loosens up and has fun. She ended up having a great time playing with Chris and Sarah's son William, and little daughter Caroline.

Caroline is one smart, expressive little 1.5 year old. I've never seen a toddler so desperately frustrated that she doesn't have the language to express herself. She's always doing funny, dramatic things like this to compensate.

Gretsch was too short for the motion sensor in the video game to see her hands, so Daddy put her up on his shoulders.

I LOVE this picture!

This game uses that motion sensor to let you virtually pet and play with a baby tiger. In my opinion, the video game industry will never improve on this model. What more do you need?!

No exaggeration, this is what Gretje was saying to Will:
"Look at this! Can you believe this?!"

"If you put your hand up, the cat in the video game KNOWS your hand is there!
ISN'T THAT CRAZY!?!"
