We made this sock creature together. His name is Zarzak and every night at bedtime, he tries to eat G's shea butter, obfuscates with some sardonic quips, and falls asleep on her head.

One night, he was inexplicably found wearing Gbear's matching nightgown. He's had it on since.

The two crazies I live with made this personal avatar for me!

Cozy by the fire

The power went out for a few hours last week, so we had a fabulous time trying out our fireplace with all the hardware for it that Gram gave us for Christmas (and the smoke alarms from Nana and Papa -- just in case!)  We roasted marshmallows and read fairy tales.

We tried it again a few nights later when all the ladies were over! But we were so excited, we left the camera settings a little off and the photos turned out blurry. Oh well!

Just heard Gretje make one of her Lego people say "She's dreaming again! She's dreaming again! THIS IS A DREAM SEQUENCE!!!"
